Common Qs And As:

1. Why should I work with a REALTOR®?

Working with a REALTOR® means having a trusted professional by your side who is committed to protecting your best interests.

When you work with me as your REALTOR®, you’re not just getting professional guidance—you’re gaining a compassionate partner who understands that real estate is about life, not just property.

Whether you're navigating a major transition like downsizing, a family change, or planning for the next chapter, I’m here to support you with care, clarity, and deep local knowledge. I’ll help you move forward with confidence and peace of mind.

2. How does real estate commission work, and what will it cost me to work with you?

In most cases, the commission is paid by the seller and split between the listing agent and the buyer’s agent. So if you’re buying, there’s usually no direct cost for my services.

If you’re selling, the commission is a percentage of the sale price and agreed upon before we list your home. It covers everything from marketing and negotiation to professional support (such as photographers, stagers, inspectors, etc.) throughout the entire process.

I’m always upfront about costs, and I’ll make sure you understand exactly what’s involved—no surprises, just honest guidance.

3. What geographic area(s) do you serve?

Milton is my home base, and I proudly serve the vibrant communities around it, including Acton, Georgetown, Mississauga, Oakville, and Burlington. These areas are where I live, work, and have built strong relationships, allowing me to offer deep local insight and personalized guidance to my clients.

That said, real estate needs don’t always stay within one region—and neither do I. I work with wonderful clients all across the Golden Horseshoe, and I’m always happy to travel where I’m needed.

If you’re exploring a move outside of my direct service areas, I’ll gladly connect you with a trusted REALTOR® in my network who can guide you with the same level of care.

4. What's the best time of year to buy or sell a home?

The best time really depends on your goals and personal circumstances, but here’s a general idea:
Spring is traditionally the busiest season for real estate. Homes tend to show beautifully, and many buyers are actively looking, which can lead to quicker sales and strong prices. Fall is also a great time—there's still solid activity, and serious buyers and sellers are motivated to make a move before winter.

If you’re buying, winter can sometimes offer less competition and more room to negotiate, while selling in the spring or early summer often means more exposure and higher demand.

That said, the “best time” is when it’s right for you. Market timing matters, but so does your life, your plans, and your comfort. I’m here to help you make a move when the time feels right—and make sure you're set up for success no matter the season.

I’m here to help you navigate your real estate journey every step of the way, with care and clarity. Book your private consultation and let’s explore the best options for your unique situation.
